Financial Information

Tuition

The annual tuition for the 2026–2027 school year is $17,321.70 for non-constituent families.

A Potomac Conference constituent discount is available upon completion of the financial assistance process listed below and submission of a Church Membership Verification Form.

Tuition rates are subject to change annually.

A 5% discount is available when the full annual tuition is paid at registration. A 2% discount is offered for semester payments.

Tuition may be paid through monthly payment plans with automatic deduction. Invoice payment plans are also available with a required deposit and approval by the TA Business Office.

All payment plans are managed through FACTS Tuition Management.

FACTS Tuition
Management

Automatic Deduction - have your payment automatically deducted from your bank account or credit card. Automatic deduction is convenient and reliable. Monthly payments are made automatically, and you never need to worry about reminders, postage, lost checks, or mail delays.

Registration/
Entrance Fees

All students are required to pay a non-refundable registration/entrance fee of $925.00. This fee covers the cost of textbooks, technology, yearbook, class dues, all required standardized testing (excluding optional SAT/PSAT exams), student accident insurance, and a key lanyard with an ID card.

Please note that this fee does not include graduation fees, required attire for performing arts or athletic programs, instrument rental, or other extracurricular activity expenses.

This fee is not eligible for discounts or refunds.

$300.00 per Family

SENIOR GRADUATION FEE: $150.00

Scholarships and Financial Assistance

Takoma Academy is committed to providing sufficient necessary funds to

make it financially possible for students to attend. This commitment is

partnered with parents, church, and school. Together we are forging an effort

to make Adventist education affordable to all families that would like to attend.

Scholarship Opportunities

Academic Scholarships:*

New and returning students qualify for Academic Scholarships based on their GPA from the previous school year as follows:

● GPA of 3.75 or above ...... $600 ($60 per month while enrolled)

● GPA of 3.5-3.74 ...................$300 ($30 per month while enrolled)

*Renewable Scholarship per year

 

Leadership Scholarships:**

Freshmen qualify for Leadership Scholarships as follows:

● Class President ................. $400 ($40 per month while enrolled)

● Class Vice President ........$250 ($25 per month while enrolled)

**One-time Scholarship

 

Merit Scholarship Program (MSP):*

Students new to TA may qualify for a Merit Scholarship based on scores achieved within the past 12 months on standardized tests, such as ITED, ITBS, and PSAT. MSP students may receive up to $10,000 during 4 years at TA. (MSP students are not eligible for Academic Scholarships). To maintain the MSP status for the next semester students must maintain a minimum GPA of 3.4 or above. If a student’s GPA drops below 3.4 for two consecutive semesters, the student is discontinued from the MSP.

GPA/Percentile Score First Semester Scholarship and is renewable for each semester at TA.

● 95th or above ..........$2,500 ($1,250 per semester)

● 90th to 94th ..............$2,000 ($1,000 per semester)

● 85th to 89th ..............$1,500 ($750 per semester)

*Renewable Scholarship per semester

Financial Assistance

Families who are seeking financial assistance are to complete the following:

  1. Parents must first submit a request for assistance with the church that holds their membership.

  2. Provide TA with a letter from the church, indicating if you were approved/denied, and for how much.

  3. Complete and submit TA’s Financial Assistance Application. The FACTS application may be completed online. The School Code for TA is 10892

July 1, 2026:   First tuition installment due - 12-month payment plan (Ending in June) with automatic deductions 

First tuition installment due – 11-month payment plan (Ending in May) with automatic deductions 


August 1, 2026:  First tuition installment due - 10-month payment plan (Ending in May) with automatic deductions 

August 31, 2026: Full payment of tuition (5% discount) and 1 st installment for semester tuition payments (2%discount)


January 1, 2027: Second tuition installment due - semester payment plan (2% discount)
